Our Story

As industry veterans and former co-workers in the physician recruiting industry, Mike Broxterman and Susan Brandt reconnected over a shared passion. Both believed the impending physician shortage would increase the demand for better internet access to physician candidates. And both believed that their combined talents and experience could help them create the ideal solution.

Before launching Fuzion, Susan had helped start and run the premiere leader in the physician database industry. She knew the standards, and she knew the challenges. And Mike came to the venture with a wealth of resources in the technological arena, some of which would solve the challenges Susan had experienced with software limitations. During his years in physician recruiting, Mike had partnered with a software programming guru to create and perfect a database. Their finished product allowed physician recruiters more flexibility to search, sort, access and manipulate information in a way no other system would. And that proprietary software proved to be invaluable in the database product that Fuzion now offers its clients.

In addition to improving on current market offerings, Susan and Mike were both full of new ideas for connecting clinics, hospitals and health systems with physician candidates. And both were not only committed to producing superior products but also were convinced that these products must be offered at better price options than those currently in the marketplace.

So the pooling together of their resources ensued and the ball was rolling. They identified the shortfalls in all existing resources on the market and discussed potential solutions. Next came research and testing followed by tweaks, improvements and enhancements. Before long, the prognosis for Fuzion’s success looked very good.

Fast forward a couple of years, countless meetings, negotiations and product tests later, and Fuzion Health Group was operational. listening to the customer

Today, the company creates products and services that help clinics, hospitals and health systems make better physician placements. These product offerings are superior to its competition and sold at a better price.

As entrepreneurs Mike and Susan shared the same vision. As business partners, they’ve brought that vision to fruition with much more in the pipeline.
